REF-FIVE MORE VIDARBHA FARMERS COMMITTED SUICIDE -UNHAPPY COTTON FARMERS TO RETURN LOW SUBSIDY TO CHIEF MINISTER.



AFTER GOVT. ANNOUNCEMENT OF GIVING RS.600/- PER ACRE SUBSIDY HAS BEEN RECEIVED AS SHOCK BY COTTON FARMERS OF VIDARBHA AS MANY AS 15 MORE FARMERS SUICIDES REPORTED IN LAST THREE DAYS AS FARMER WERE EXPECTING AROUND RS.5000/- PER HECTOR SUBSIDY THAT IS UP TO MINIMUM5 HECTOR AS LIMIT BUT IT HAS BEEN MADE RS.1500/- PER HECTOR LIMITING UP TO 2 HECTOR THAT AVERAGE FARMER WILL RECEIVE AID FROM THE GOVT. RA.3000/- MAXIMUM WHICH IS RIDICULOUS.
COTTON FARMERS FACING LOW PRICES AND GROWING DEBT IN VIDARBHA ARE UNHAPPY WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S LOW SUBSIDY.FARMERS WHO PROTESTING NOW DECIDED TO RETURN SUBSIDY AMOUNT TO CHIEF MINISTER,THIS AMOUNT WILL SENT BY MONEY ORDER AS AND WHEN GOVT. WILL START IT'S DISBURSEMENT BUT LAST IT TOOK MORE THAN 8 MONTHS FOR GOVT. TO RELEASE THE RELIEF AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION,KISHORE TIWARI OF VJAS INFORMED TODAY.

UNABLE TO PAY DEBTS, MORE THAN A THOUSAND FARMERS COMMITTED SUICIDE DURING THE LAST YEAR AND A COTTON FARMER DIED DURING RECENT PROTESTS.
IN LAST 48 HOURS FIVE MORE FARMERS SUICIDE REPORTED TAKING TOLL TO 67 TILL 18TH DECEMBER AND FARMERS NAMES ARE-

1.SANJAY PUROSHTTAM BHOYAR R/O SONEGOAN IN WARDHA DISTRICT.

2.BHARATRAN MAHADEO HINGANE R/O CHICHOLI IN WARDHA DISTRICT.
